RC Petition Report and Results

On November 14, 2024 a petition was circulated requesting that the current Recovery Coach certification process in Massachusetts be reviewed. The email on page 4 of the linked report the following page (pg. 4) was initially circulated via the Recovery Binder Newsletter and later sent out via other newsletters, e-mail lists, and forwarded by individuals.

The link in the email directed readers to a web page at recoverybinder.org with a form requesting information limited to specific choices and a comment field for people to recount their personal experience with the certification process or to leave a comment.

The data were collected on an encrypted spreadsheet independent of the site.

By the end of December, 2024 over 200 signatures had been collected. The report (linked below) contains the results of the petition and a summary of the results and comments, albeit somewhat anecdotal.
